Play as Yoru, a village boy searching for his missing pet, Sonubare.
When the village refuses to help, Yoru steals his father’s magical masks - the Babalawo, the village’s spiritual guide.
Each mask reveals a different realm: Rere and Apaadi, the Good and Bad afterlife.
These realms look familiar, yet feel wrong - echoes of the same world, shaped by unseen forces.
By switching masks and leaping between realities, you’ll navigate puzzles and uncover the truth behind what Yoru has lost.
Forged in the clay and chaos of Global Game Jam 2026, this village was shaped by broken traditions and ancient shadows. Our team spent 48 hours capturing the somber rhythm of life a thousand years ago, where every brown brick tells a story of survival and artistic sadness.
